Course Introduction
The One day training on Occupational Safety and Health 1994 and Factories and Machinery Act 1967 is designed for all level of Management and Workers. It is now mandatory for Employers to comply with the minimum Legal Occupational Safety and Health Standards and requirements stipulated in these two ACTS. By understanding and implementing the various provisions of these Acts, employers can now initiate their OSH programmes to control workplace accidents. Even Safety and Health Committees could be able to carry out their OSH functions effectively by attending this 1 day training.
Objective Of The Course
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain OSHA/FMA salient provisions
- Understand duties of employers, employees ,manufacturers ,etc
- Implement OSH programmes effectively
- Understand the procedures for new/additional machinery approval from DOSH
- Understand the procedures for reporting accidents, dangerous occurrences, etc
- Carry out their Legal OSHA/FMA duties effectively
- Understand and implement Safety , Health and Welfare provisions

Certification & Validity
Having completed and passed the course, participants will be awarded with Certificate of Training. Without retraining, knowledge might be forgotten while skills may deteriorate rapidly when not being used / practiced. Therefore, yearly retraining is very much recommended.
