COURSE INTRODUCTION
Forklift Training are required in organisation as compliance on Section 15(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514)
This forklift training is an in depth course on manual and mechanical forklift handling which is designed to increased safety, motivation and productivity that helps protect personnel, loads and equipment. It delivers a thorough understanding on safety management and procedures in compliance with the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 (OSHA, Act 514). This course on Forklift Training will train participants on the functional features and the capability of a forklift truck. Forklift Truck Course enables trainees to acquire all the necessary skills in operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. The course is catered for both new or inexperience forklift operators and also for experienced operators to learn new skills and techniques. The forklift training covers both theoretical and practical instruction in a realistic environment for all types of forklifts.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Deliver a better understanding for new recruits as well as veteran drivers on the principles for safer forklift operation, the types and its operation procedures
- Emphasize on safety awareness towards the hazards in workplace that might arise from the use of forklift in accordance with the legal safety requirements under OSHA Act 1994 (Act 514) standard
- Educate and reveal the important issues which involves truck driving such as machines and technical knowledge, handling skills and the correct operational attitudes
- Assist operators in enabling them to identify and avoid risks to surrounding people and the safely guarded properties
- Motivate operators in becoming well trained operators to perform better thus contributing in reducing the risk of damage to loads, equipment and in most cases, of human injuries

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION ON PUBLIC TRAINING
Based on the latest HRDF guideline, all physical trainings are allowed in Malaysia but need to the adhere the social distancing of at least 1 meter. Therefore capacity of our class has been reduce with social distancing between participants seating when training being conducted. Physical contact between participants are not allowed, hence there will be new module introduced into our training for certain courses.
On top of that, CERT Academy will conduct disinfection spraying using chemical based on MKN guideline before and after the training to ensure the safety of our participants. Registration and body temperature will be conducted before entering the premise in the morning and after lunch based on guidelines.
The language used will cater to Malaysian majority with the mix of English and Bahasa Melayu in general for public class unless the course specified to focus on specific language eg: English class, Mandarin class.
During the training, you will be provided meals accordingly as per 10.00 am light breakfast, 1.00 pm lunch, 3.30 pm tea time. All meals are halal and prepared by Muslim provider.

Please dress in comfortable attire which would be easy to move in for practical session. Certain practical sessions would require participants to bend down or crouch. As training will be conducted in air-conditioned environment, it will be advisable for participants to bring jacket as well. Bring along stationary such as pen as you may need to make own notes on learning materials provided in the training.
