Course Introduction
It is specially designed to provide basic knowledge and skill on handling of light vehicle. Including maintenance of the vehicle to prevent unpredictable malfunction of the vehicle, acceleration, safe braking and other essential knowledge a safe driver should obtain.
Objective Of The Course
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Develop a correct and systematic approach to minimizing risk in the driving environment
- Understand the car system and perform car maintenance
- Describe the correct procedure to accelerate and safe braking
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of safe driving
Who Should Attend
- Transport and Logistics Staff of the company
- Safety and Health Committee Members
- Any other staff that require car travel
Assessment
Participants are required to sit for theory and practical assessment, which includes multiple-choice questions and skill demonstrations
Certification & Validity
Having completed and passed the course, participants will be awarded with Certificate of Training. Without retraining, knowledge might be forgotten while skills may deteriorate rapidly when not being used / practiced. Therefore, yearly retraining is very much recommended.
