Course Introduction

This 1-day training is intended for those working with children in either childcare, daycare, coaching and/or those who want to learn infant, child and adult CPR and First Aid. This fun, interactive class will involve so many practical and role plays that you will be able to recall the steps to CPR and how to care for various First Aid injuries including choking, burn, bleedings & wound, amputated fingers, how to assess a broken bone.The goal of this course is to help you attain beginning level skills and comfort with the Essentials Skills in Pediatric Emergencies.

Objective Of The Course

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Perform Basic Life Support Skill such as CPR & Choking for Adult & Infant
  • Understand the importance of Automated
  • External Defibrillator (AED) to increase survival
  • Render First Aid Management for various injuries such as bleeding, burn, fracture and etc
  • Understand systematic approach to survey & diagnose patient

Assessment 

Participants are required to sit for theory and practical assessment, which includes multiple-choice questions, skill demonstrations and mock drill (scenario based), 80% of attendance during Theory and 100% of attendance on Practical session.

Certification & Validity

Having completed the course, participants will be awarded with Certificate of Training which are both nationally and internationally recognized.
Without retraining, knowledge might be forgotten while skills may deteriorate rapidly when not being used / practiced. Therefore, yearly retraining is very much recommended.

Certificate will be delivered to the client’s correspondence address within 21 working days after completion of the course. Special arrangement for fast delivery can be made upon request.
