Course Introduction

The course will prepare participants in handling emergency which involve hazardous gas. The course will start with theory session which will introduce the key principle of breathing apparatus and will be followed by practical sessions that will fully utilize the knowledge participant gained during the theory session. After going through the theory and practical sessions, participants are expected to be able to use breathing apparatus proficiently

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize different types of breathing apparatus
  • Understand parts of breathing apparatus and its functions
  • Use breathing apparatus correctly

Entry Requirements
  • Physically and mentally fit
  • Experience in fire safety is an added advantage and is highly recommended
Certification & Validity

Having completed and passed the course, participants will be awarded with Certificate of Training.
Without retraining, knowledge might be forgotten while skills may deteriorate rapidly when not being used / practiced. Therefore, yearly retraining is very much recommended.
