The AED HeartSine Samaritan PAD 500P was designed especially for use in public areas by providing a sophisticated defibrillator for adult or paediatric use, lightweight, compact and easy-to-operate system; from professional responders, to untrained lay rescuer. Unlike other AEDs, this unit comes with CPR Advisor and uses an Impedance Cardiogram (ICG) to accurately assess CPR effectiveness.
The Heartsine Samaritan PAD 500P is a compact AED, weighing 1.1kg, and is designed with a high IP rating for protection against dust and moisture.
How It Works: The HeartSine Samaritan AED 350P is a defibrillator that can assess heart rhythm and provide an electrical shock if required.
The Heartsine Samaritan PAD 500P provides the rescuer with real-time instructions with audible “Push Harder” or “Good Compressions” or “Push Slower” by using ICG software. The ICG measures electrical conductivity through the chest cavity which helps determine effective CPR and will guide the rescuer on both rate and depth.

The samaritan PAD SAM-350P is lighter (1.1kg) and (10 x 13.3 x2.4 cm) smaller than other defibrillators.
Advanced Technology.
The samaritan PAD utlilzes proprietary SCOPE Biphasic Technology (an escalating and low-energy waveform that automatically adjusts for patient impedance differences) to assess rhythm and recommend defibrillation if necessary.

Two versions of the Pad-Pak are available:
Adult Pad-Pak, gray in color, for use on patients from eight years old to adults weighing more than 55 lbs (25 kg). Pediatric-Pak, pink in color, for use on patients younger than eight years of age weighing less than 55 lbs (25 kg).
